Different Ways to Look at Change

“Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”

Different Ways to Look at Change

By Jeffrey Gitomer

On the dark side:
  • Change is eliminating.
  • Change is terminating.
  • Change is hiding or avoiding truth.
  • Change is disappointing.
  • Change is scary.
  • Change is morale busting
On the bright side:
  • Change is refinement.
  • Change is growth.
  • Change is movement.
  • Change is acquiring.
  • Change is upgrading.
  • Change is opportunity (Gitomer, 2011, p. 152-153).
