BEING A VISIONARY
You've heard the term visionary. We hear it used all the time in the business world. What exactly does it mean?
The World Book Dictionary says: visionary: n. 1. a person who is not practical; person given to imagining or dreaming; dreamer. 2. a person who has visions of unknown or future things.
What does this mean to you personally and in your business?
To affirm that we will accomplish something, that is, to have a goal, becomes a much easier task if we first have a vision, or a dream of what is possible. Having a strong vision creates the excitement you need to get going.
Having a powerful vision brings you the gift of focus. If you have a direction, and you focus on implementing the habits which will get you there, then you are sure to achieve your dreams. While you work on your vision, don't fall into the trap of believing that you will be happy when you achieve everything. Instead, be happy in order to achieve the vision.
Being a visionary does mean not being practical. It does, however, mean being a dreamer. You will have to play with the unknown. And in the end, you will be the victor, having accomplished that which 'they' told you wasn't possible.

COACHING CALL TO ACTION FOR
BEING A VISIONARY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Take time this week to review your vision if you already have one OR to create a vision for your self and your business. Create a vision which is flexible and unencumbered. Paint a picture and remain detached from its outcome. It is very important to be committed to your truth, not your outcome. How will you move to extraordinary instead of ordinary?
